SEA OATS
A home fit for royalty on Captiva Island
Sea Oats is a nine-bedroom, resort-style estate on Captiva Island, Florida. Its front yard is a Gulf Coast beach, its backyard is Florida's calm intracoastal, nestled between the Gulf of Mexico and one of the state's pristine aquatic preserves. It offers the luxuries of a modern resort with the privacy of a secluded home.
Sea Oats engaged Ruckus to improve awareness of the property and increase rentals: a new, more marketable identity and a website capable of selling the estate's beauty, richness, and spirit to families, corporate retreats, and weddings alike, screen by screen.

A more marketable identity
Ruckus designed a new identity for the estate: a golden sea-oat sprig cresting a wave of Gulf blue, set in light, unhurried type. The lockup gave a private home the polish of a boutique resort, and its teal and sand palette set the tone for everything that followed.

A resort-style digital presence
Full-screen photography puts guests on the pool deck and the private beach before they ever book. The site reads like a resort brochure, with purpose-built pages for family reunions, corporate retreats, and intimate weddings, and a responsive build that keeps reservation one tap away on any screen.
Ruckus also designed full-page magazine advertising for Coastal Living, carrying the estate's photography, lockup, and palette into the pages coastal travelers already trust, with the website and reservation line front and center, inviting readers to find their own island paradise on Captiva.
