CYBER RISK ALLIANCE
Built for the people who secure the world
CyberRisk Alliance is the business intelligence and media company built for the cybersecurity community, connecting practitioners, executives, and solution providers through brands like SC Media, Security Weekly, and MSSP Alert.
Ruckus was engaged to activate one of the largest audiences in cybersecurity, designing a segmented email program that turns a vast subscriber base into an engaged, self-identifying community.

Scale without signal
A list of 1.2 million cybersecurity professionals is only an asset if you know who is listening. Broad, one-size sends let engaged readers drift, and a community spanning ransomware, identity, cloud, and AI each demanded its own voice and cadence.

Three audiences, seven topic tracks
Ruckus segmented subscribers into three groups, connected contacts, identified and engaged, and identified but non-engaged, and mapped seven topic tracks from ransomware to AI, each running the same five-email flow from top articles to on-demand events.
The team delivered 75 production-ready HTML emails built inside CyberRisk Alliance's own design system, so every send looked and felt unmistakably CRA.
A subscriber base, re-armed for engagement
Ruckus delivered a ready-to-run engine of 75 emails across seven topic tracks, a three-tier audience framework that sorts subscribers by interest and engagement, and a repeatable five-email flow built to scale across the CRA portfolio.
“The Ruckus process was disciplined from the first scoping session to final handoff. Our team received a complete, deployment-ready program, delivered on cadence and exactly as scoped, and that predictability is rare in creative work.”John Harrison, Chief Financial Officer, CyberRisk Alliance
