01The Client

Anti-aging without the sting

Bee Rx is a clean-label natural skincare line from Taro Pharmaceuticals, pairing New Zealand bee venom with kanuka honey to firm skin and soften wrinkles, cruelty-free and 100% naturally derived, carrying a pharmaceutical company's regulatory rigor into every claim.

02The Challenge

Turn a pharmaceutical story into a brand people fall for

Bee Rx had rigorous formulas and a remarkable origin but no consumer identity and no place to buy. Ruckus had to build the brand and its direct-to-consumer engine from zero and make bee venom feel desirable rather than clinical, with every word and frame clearing pharmaceutical MLR review.

03The Platform

Bee Different

Ruckus built the brand around symbiosis, buying Bee Rx means supporting the bees, then produced the brand film and content library that carried the idea across broadcast, streaming, social, and the Shopify storefront Ruckus built and wrote end to end, with Klaviyo flows turning first visits into repeat orders.

04The Celebrity and Influencer Campaign

Mandy Moore, then Erika Thompson

Ruckus signed Mandy Moore as the brand's celebrity endorser for a three-month flight across Instagram, Twitter, and press, then sourced, signed, and filmed beekeeper Erika Thompson for a partnership launch film. Her content outperformed the celebrity work, steering the influencer program that followed toward a roster of micro and nano creators.

05The Outcome

A launch that compounded

Ruckus built Bee Rx from a formula into a brand: a platform, a film, a storefront, and an omnichannel engine that kept customers coming back.
