01The Client

A consultancy's first product brand

Synergetics is a management consulting firm with a 50-year legacy of driving operational excellence for manufacturers. Synovate is the product born from that expertise, a real-time production monitoring and continuous improvement platform spanning Line Beat, Maintenance Manager, and MRO Parts Manager, built for everyone from line operators to the C-suite.

Ruckus was engaged to take Synovate to market: the strategy, identity, website, and films that turn a consultancy's in-house tool into a technology brand that can compete with established manufacturing software players like RedZone, Worximity, Vorne, and Epicor, each with a defined identity of its own.

02The Challenge

A powerful product, seen as a consulting add-on

Fifty years of hands-on operational consulting earned deep trust, but no external perception of Synergetics as a data-driven software innovator. The manufacturing-software market is contested by established players like RedZone, Worximity, Vorne, and Epicor, each with a defined identity, and Synovate had to stand on its own while unmistakably carrying the credibility of the Synergetics master brand behind it.

03The Identity

An arrow that points up

A brand workshop and stakeholder interviews, from the CEO to the plant-floor trainer, surfaced trust, transparency, execution, and client-centricity as the shared DNA. Ruckus designed the Synovate mark around an upward-cropped arrow extending from the wordmark, paired with a navy and red gradient that claims the product brand's own signature.

04The Work

A front door built for every audience

Ruckus designed the full Synovate website, homepage, products, about, resources, and contact, backed by user personas for plant managers, line operators, executives, and private equity operating partners. A brand film library followed: a hero anthem, films for each core value, and customer testimonial footage shot on location at Eli's Cheesecake, finished in 4K.

05The Outcome

The partnership deepened

The 2024 launch engagement grew into marketing management and an expanded 2026 RFP engagement, with every channel, strategy, identity, website, and 4K film library, now equipped to carry Synovate into a crowded manufacturing software market and win on its own terms.
