01The Client

The first platform for going global

Scene is a technology company built to remove the friction of international expansion. Its platform pairs no-code, localized commerce with a network of vetted local partners, so a brand can launch and scale into a new market with the ease, speed, and lower risk of operating in its home market.

Scene named the category it was building Expansion-as-a-Service. Moving into a high-growth phase, the company needed a brand with the clarity and confidence to win new clients, partners, and investors in a crowded, unclear category built on borrowed language from consulting and logistics.

02The Challenge

Four goals for a brand entering its next chapter

Ruckus set out to crystallize Scene's positioning into one clear, differentiated proposition, then cascade that message into sales and marketing channels from web pages to front-line commercial presentations, rebuild the visual identity, and frame the partner story for co-branded materials.

03The Work

Naming a new category

Expansion had always been sold as consulting, logistics, or software. Ruckus helped Scene claim a single idea that stitched all three together: Scene enables brands to seamlessly launch and scale into new markets anywhere in the world, with the first Expansion-as-a-Service solution.

A working vocabulary kept every page, deck, and conversation unmistakably Scene: solutions-oriented, direct, expert, and reliable, scalable and holistic, never esoteric, complicated, disconnected, or just another website builder pretending at something bigger than it actually is or ever claimed to be.

04The Identity

A mark that travels

The circular form reads as the earth, grounding Scene in its purpose of moving brands across borders. Interlocking lines trace the journey from one location to the next, resolving into an S so the story of expansion and the company's own name become one shape, carried in teal, mint, and gold.

05The Outcome

A relationship that continued

Scene walked away with a defensible idea and a full visual system, logo suite, palette, type, and iconography, codified in brand guidelines the team could run without Ruckus in the room. The relationship extended beyond the rebrand, with Scene bringing Ruckus into its partner network to deliver brand and web work together.
