RILEY'S WAY
A peace corps for kindness
Riley's Way Foundation was established by Mackenzie and Ian Sandler in 2014 to honor the life of their nine-year-old daughter, Riley Hannah Sandler. Today it empowers young leaders to use kindness and empathy to build meaningful connections and drive positive change.
The foundation's mission to spread kindness and empathy to today's youth needed a digital home to match. Ruckus built a robust platform designed to encourage visitors to learn about Riley's story, give to the cause, and get involved in the movement she inspired.

Warm, human, trustworthy
The identity had to feel like a hug and a handshake at once. Ruckus paired a hand-lettered, joyful voice with a clean, confident structure, so the site reads as heartfelt to families and credible to partners, carried through a warm, hopeful palette of indigo, coral, sky, and sunshine.
Before a pixel moved, the project had a paper trail: a creative brief, listening sessions with the foundation's own young leaders, and three style tile concepts built in Adobe XD, each carrying the same architecture through its own type, color, and navigation.

Give in a click
Generosity should never hit friction. Ruckus built a one-click FastAction donation experience with saved checkout details, the option to dedicate a gift in honor or memory, and a secure, guided three-step checkout flow, so a gift takes seconds, not minutes, from any device.
One platform, built to do it all
The site carries visitors from who Riley was to the movement she inspired: the mission, the programs, and a clear path to help, all in a single, warm journey across learn, give, and get involved, built for families and partners alike.
