LUMASOL
Sun care, disrupted
Lumasol launched a broad-spectrum SPF 50 mist made to reapply over makeup, backed by Peter Thiel's Founders Fund and Greycroft. Ruckus built a logo and brand guidelines to set it apart from the industry while keeping it recognizable as luxury UV protection worth its price.

An ultraviolet point of view
A brand analysis and snapshot set the tone: purple hues complemented by natural tones bringing sun, sea, land, and skin together, with a holographic gradient representing the UV spectrum. The wordmark curves like a parasol into a misting hand, with a multicolored o mirroring the brand's ability to adapt to the sun.
Brand guidelines standardized packaging, web, and marketing, and the ultraviolet system carried straight into Lumasol's investor pitch deck, from cover art to mission and vision spreads, giving the whole raise one consistent look from the first slide to the last.

A brand the biggest names wanted to be seen with
Lumasol went on to raise seed backing from Founders Fund and Greycroft and earned coverage in The New York Times, Forbes, and Bloomberg. Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner each featured the product on Instagram unpaid, with Kardashian saying she asked Lumasol to send it to her ahead of launch.
