FLAHERTY CHEVROLET
A handshake, branded
Flaherty Chevrolet is a family-owned dealership rooted in Brandenburg, Kentucky for over fifty years. Run by Travis and Rachel Flaherty and a lifelong local team, it has carried families through generations of vehicles and earned a Chamber of Commerce award for community service. Its reputation was built on names remembered and promises kept. What it didn't have was a brand that looked the way that felt.

A legacy of trust, with nothing to carry it forward
Decades of goodwill lived in people, not in a system. There was no documented voice, no ownable mark, and no rules to keep a growing dealership looking like itself. Ruckus was brought in to translate a half century of reputation into an identity Flaherty could own and repeat everywhere.

A logo built from Kentucky itself
Ruckus wrote four values into the brand voice, heritage, professionalism, trust and community, and built a wordmark drawn from Shackleton, a serif inspired by old Kentucky bourbon labels, paired with an FC monogram set in a container inspired by vintage automotive emblems. Blue for trust and gold for legacy anchor the palette.
Travis Flaherty's own handwriting was digitized into brand signatures, so a printed message still feels like it came from a neighbor, and everything was captured in a full guidelines document covering logo, color, type, photography and formatting for web and print.
A fifty year handshake, now a brand
Flaherty Chevrolet can now communicate its core values before a single word is read: a complete identity system, strategy, story, logo, color and type, built from the ground up and governed by guidelines that keep every touchpoint consistent for years to come.
