01The Client

A boutique firm with the reach of a global bank

Founded in 1996 by Roland DeSilva and Reed Phillips, DeSilva+Phillips is a leading M&A advisory firm specializing in sell-side and buy-side transactions, capital raises, and valuations for media, entertainment, education, and technology companies worldwide. Today it is a member firm of Oaklins, the world's most experienced mid-market M&A network.

02The Assignment

Build a global brand

The rebrand had to do two things at once: preserve the independent, boutique character clients trust, and signal the firm's integration into Oaklins' worldwide network, while redesigning a complex website to present a large amount of information across many verticals.

03The Work

A boutique voice, a global signature

Ruckus built a restrained navy and gold system with interactive deal tombstones as its signature motif, turning a track record into a browsable showcase, then architected the site from user stories and wireframes so visitors move from track record to team to transaction without friction.

The result runs responsive across every device on a client-managed CMS, so the D+P team owns its own copy, imagery, and deal news.

04The Outcome

A boutique firm, now unmistakably global

Ruckus delivered a rebranded, responsive site with a signature deal-tombstone showcase, work that now carries the firm's own name forward as Oaklins DeSilva+Phillips.
