VERLAS
Luxury, delivered home
Verlas is a disruptive fine jewelry brand built to bring luxury to the masses, crafting solid gold and platinum pieces with earth-born and lab-grown diamonds sourced ethically from world-class mines. Ruckus built the full brand from July 2018 to May 2019: identity, packaging, and a responsive e-commerce experience.

An iconic purchase, built entirely online
An engagement ring is one of life's most treasured purchases, and every touchpoint had to feel worthy of the moment it marks. Customers needed to see and try fine jewelry in person while still paying e-commerce prices and never visiting a store, so the brand, from logo to unboxing, had to work as one cohesive system.

One system, from logo to living room
Ruckus workshopped a stencil-cut serif wordmark crowned by a V monogram, then built out full guidelines: a palette of deep navy, lavender, and blush, plus business cards and stationery. Packaging followed the same restraint, with a mirrored Keepsake Box and a Try-at-Home Box that ships three mock rings to a customer's door and back, free, in seven days.
The website came from hundreds of user stories through low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity designs, building a responsive experience that let customers browse and buy fine jewelry from their phones with the same confidence they would get in a store, packaging, product, and user experience all planned in step.
Still disrupting
The identity Ruckus built leads everywhere Verlas shows up, from embossed boxes to the site header at verlas.com. Keepsake boxes, Try-at-Home kits, and discreet direct-from-factory mailers all rolled out to market, and Try-at-Home remains a signature Verlas service as the brand keeps selling sustainable luxury direct to the home.
