RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE COUNCIL
A network for the industry's top 3%
The Residential Real Estate Council, formerly the Council of Residential Specialists, is a nationwide organization offering education, networking, and the prestigious CRS designation to qualified real estate agents. Its members represent the most experienced and productive agents in the industry.
Ruckus was brought in to provide a complete redesign of the outdated association's brand, covering research, naming, identity, and video, so it could better connect with its membership and prepare for a marketing overhaul ahead of its next chapter as an organization.

Listen before you rename
Ruckus audited the category, surveyed members, and mapped how agents actually find and choose one another. Referrals were expected to drive more than 60% of real estate leads, while national portals accounted for only about 15%, pointing straight at what the brand needed to stand for.
Members named education as the brand's single greatest strength, the foundation for the new identity. After weighing options like the Real Estate Specialist Institute and the Institute for Residential Real Estate, the name landed on Residential Real Estate Council, leading with the category while preserving the trusted RRC shorthand.

One mark built to signal trust
The chosen mark interlocks R, R, and C into one monogram, a coral roofline tracing a home at its heart. Deep navy carries the authority of an institution, coral keeps it human, and beneath the master brand sits the refined CRS designation shield, the credential members earn and carry for a career.
A legacy council, reintroduced as a modern authority
The organization adopted the new name and identity and still carries it today, rolled out across logo, stationery, and brand essentials alongside a produced brand film that unified the master brand and the CRS designation and readied the council for its marketing overhaul.
“We are thrilled with the new brand identity that Ruckus created, and believe it will drive our association's growth moving forward.”Anthony Priore, Chief Marketing Officer, Residential Real Estate Council
