01The Client

Hands around a heart

Kids for Kids Foundation is a community of friends, families, and colleagues raising money for organizations that support children and families facing medical challenges. Rooted on Long Island, it turns golf outings, raffles, and family events into real support for children's hospitals across New York and beyond.

02The Challenge

A grassroots mission, without a system to carry it

The foundation needed a brand as warm and unified as its mission, one ownable symbol the whole community could rally behind, and a system, not just a logo, that could keep going event after event across a full fundraising calendar year after year.

03The Work

A ring of hands, a heart at the center

The identity centers on a ring of figures joined hand in hand, with a heart-shaped void drawn from artwork donated at a Kids for Kids fundraiser. A full-spectrum palette, a warm slab serif paired with a clean sans, and a minimal icon style carry the mark across web, print, and apparel alike.

Ruckus set photography standards favoring real, candid moments over posed group shots and never stock imagery, then built a branded Premiere motion package so every event film carries the identity from first frame to the final logo reveal, event after event.

04The Results

A brand built to be handed off

What began as a rebrand grew into an ongoing partnership: rolling 30-day marketing plans, event and raffle landing pages, promo and recap films, hero speaker films, and a year-in-review recap, keeping the same bright, unified brand live across every fundraiser on the calendar.
