01The Client

Every journey, a masterpiece

From its New York headquarters, Arrangements Abroad designs custom cultural journeys for leading museums, universities, and alumni associations. Together with its museum-focused sister brand, the Museum Travel Alliance, it offers expert-led itineraries and deep cultural engagement for affluent, culturally curious travelers.

In 2024, Ruckus was engaged as strategic and digital partner: to clarify the architecture of the two brands, build the marketing engine behind them, and rebuild the digital flagship to match the caliber of the journeys themselves.

02The Challenge

Two brands, one blur

Arrangements Abroad and the Museum Travel Alliance had each earned deep loyalty, but clients struggled to see where one brand ended and the other began. A well-curated site and email program carried the load alone, while social and search visibility sat as untapped potential in a market where competitors were investing aggressively in digital.

03The Strategy

One house, two brands

Ruckus ran brand, media, and UX workshops and stakeholder interviews across both audiences, then built a Branded House strategy moving MTA step by step from a linked co-brand to a unified sub-brand beneath the Arrangements Abroad master name. A full-funnel marketing engine now moves travelers from first inspiration to booked journey across search, YouTube, Meta, LinkedIn, and email.

04The Website

Built on live trip data

Ruckus designed and built a new WordPress platform at arrangementsabroad.com synced in real time to the booking system, so every trip, price, and seat stays current on its own. The Museum Travel Alliance now lives within the Arrangements Abroad directory, exactly as the brand strategy prescribed.
